Sonic4 - "Voice Of The Girls #1" (4/10)
Review Date: (07/11/2024)
This certainly sounds interesting, but it is not something that was
intended to be a regular album. The entire album is a recording of a
girl singing Turkish songs and getting interrupted sometimes. There
is also another kid singing along from time to time, but unlike the
girl, he is very young.
"Mata oh a eh" and "Roll down di rubber man" are the only two normal
songs in the album, and sometimes, an eerie sound of a music box can
be heard in the distance. "Cocuklara Aşı" and "Mini Mini Bir Kuş"
both feature the girl and the boy. The former is a skit, and the
latter is a nursery rhyme. They are both interesting to hear.
"Haziranda Olmek Zor" is my favorite song. It appears three times in
this album, and it's the most memorable song.
I like the authenticity of this album. It's like a time capsule that
was never meant to be opened. People used to sing their favorite
songs to keep themselves entertained in the past, because common
forms of entertainment were not common as they are today.
I don't recommend this album because it's boring to sit through a
long recording of someone just singing. |
