Hi, I'm Sonic4 and I started "making music" in
2021 but my first official album
"All The Memories From The
Underground Classroom" was released in
July 2022. At first, I was making dark ambient
albums about my
own memories, which later became The Protagonist.
And in Februrary of
2023, Sonic4 and Sonic4 Test Records
was created so I could make music in different
styles.
I do this for passion, making music as a way of
creating art and not to make money. Telling stories and
representing emotions through distorted music is something I enjoy doing. I
could be considered as
a "fan-project" maker, but I'm far different from
your typical one. I also want to compose music
in the future.
I can play the drums, and I've been playing
since I was a kid. I can also play the piano,
but I'm not even close to being skilled. I love
singing but I don't like singing around others.
And most importantly, I like distorting music
digitally.
My style is evolving to be louder and crazier
with each release. With each
album I make, the better I get at my job. It
started off with The Protagonist's
hauntology, noise, and ambient songs, and it
evolved into Sonic4's warped,
distorted, and butchered music. I'm planning to
make Noise music and
hopefully try making original music in my future
releases. Experimenting
with your style and trying to make something
that can top your last release
is the key to move forward. "With ideas come the
inspiration for music."
All of my albums have some sort of meaning
behind them, and this website
is the place to learn more about them. I'm
looking forward to find more people
who enjoy this unpleasant music style, or even
willing to make similiar things.
