This is
the ninth (and final) release of The Protagonist.
The album code AUDIOMIX is
used for mixes released on Sonic4 Test Records.
About the album:
Recollections from the tormented town is a mix of mostly
unreleased
tracks and some previously released tracks by The
Protagonist. Story wise,
it's about The Protagnoist returning to his hometown after
retiring from taking
care of Eray's memories, only to find a desolate mess from
the past.
Background:
The first ever concept
of The Protagonist has now become a reality. In September
of 2021, before 8th
grade began, I made a concept artwork for an album called
"Recollections from the
tormented town." It was a blueish photo of a random
building next to the
highway we were in. At the time, I didn't think anything
much of it. But looking
back at it now, this mix is a perfect way to represent
the things that haven't
made the cut. The memories that we left way back
home. And returning back
to those memories years after your journey has
ended, it brings a sense
of comfort and longing. No one else is here to take
care of the house. No
one remains in the desolate, tormented town.
So tonight, let's raise
our drinks for another tomorrow. The story might have
ended here, but it's
certainly not the end for The Protagonist. Take care,

There's going to be a
compilation set of everything released by The Protagonist in
Memories Always Endure
The Passage. All albums, mixes, appearances,
unreleased and cut
tracks all compiled together for a coheasive story.
