"Hxppy Thxughts" is an album about mourning the loss of a close friend. For the case of this story, it's about Sayori. Our friendship was tainted due to her rainclouds, and the grief that came with her absence. It's a metaphor for friendships that end abruptly, or even worse, with suicide. Thankfully, I didn't witness the latter.

"I don't think that this album is something that everyone is going to understand, but it can have two meanings depending on how you interpret it. The first and most obvious interpretation is connecting it to the story of Doki Doki Literature Club, and the feelings of the main character during Sayori's depressive decline. I won't talk about the second interpretation, as it's something personal and I don't remember what it exactly was. Sorry."
