This is the thirteenth release of Sonic4 Test Records,

The Album Code "PRISON" is for the releases by Bad Citizen.

"Greetings to all readers. This is my first released album in the style of the wonderful artist "V/Vm", which was released on the Internet label of my

great friend Eray. In this issue, I distort and distort the hits of Russian radio

of the 1990s-2010s, namely the musical layer of Russian chanson, thieves'

music. The songs of this genre are usually completely empty and

meaningless, just weird tales about prison life and how "cool" it is.

With this album I want to prove that this is absolutely not true, I hate the

thieves' culture, this is a strange echo of the criminal showdowns of the

late 20th century, which should simply go down in history and not receive

any popularity at all. Especially for this release,  I selected 37 songs that I searched for in compilations on various Russian labels ("Russian Chanson" and others) on the Discogs website, and sometimes on YouTube.

Various performers, Mikhail Krug (More like Michael Kroogly),

Alexander Dyumin, who is need to more correctly called Alexander DUNE,

as well as many other elements of the moldy old dough, which was once

relevant in the wild time of the 90s and even the end of the 80s. I applied

various editing and enhancement measures to all samples: Slicing, adding

frequency shifters, distortion and collaging parts of the song with other arcs.

It was fun, I will remember it for a long time. I plan to release a small addition

to the release (Something like "Love Struck", but for thieves' music^^),

where I will recreate the tracks lost during rendering, intended for this

release. I recommend downloading the digital version from Sonic's bandcamp, because there are funny bonus jpg images of distorted

faces of sample performers that I made in Photoshop. Have a nice day!"
