"Masquerade" is a single by Eray & Hits. It's a parody of Playboi Carti's Location, but the instrumental is a trap remix of The Protagonist's music and the lyrics are referencing lines from The Protagonist's first two albums. Unlike the previous singles, it's a meaningless track that's only meant to show off a different vibe.

"First time in a long time where I've actually made a song for fun. At first, the April Fools single was intentionally going to be the worst song I've ever made, something similar to Mouldy Old Freestyle but even worse. Though, I was bored one day and I had a random idea. What would The Protagonist sound like if it was rap music? Nowadays, I'm listening to a lot of Playboi Carti to keep up my vibes, so I combined the beat of Location with the instrumentals of The Protagonist. More specifically, Too Many Tears.

And for the lyrics, I just took a bunch of random lines from A Classroom Above The Skies songs and ordered them based on how they rhymed. I picked some of them, added a whole bunch of adlibs, and boom. It's a cool song with meaningless lyrics.
