"A Classroom Above The Skies" is The Protagonist's second album, and it takes place after the events of the underground classroom. These memories are from before, during and after 8th grade and the story is told from Eray's perspective as he tries to let go of his dark past and hopefully move on to a better future.

"I got inspired to make this album during a summer vacation on the last week of our summer break, which passed very quickly. The first side is full of haunting ballroom and dance band songs because I used to listen to them many times before 8th grade. The second side is inspired by The Shining, featuring the songs that were playing in the red bathroom scene, and dark ambient tracks to really convey the visible stain of the past just like the horrible events that took place in The Overlook Hotel."
