"The Downfall Of Turkey 2.0" is a two-track EP by Sonic4, and it was made in May 1st, Workers Day. It samples a live news recording of the scene where the police attacked the fractions of workers and socialist groups to prevent them from marching on Taksim. The song sampled throughout the album is an anthem for Workers Day.

"Once again, we see another example of how shit this country is. Today is May 1st, Workers Day and instead of a great celebration we saw a heart-breaking moment of thousands of police blocking our roads, preventing them from celebrating it by gassing and shooting them. Taksim is a famous location and it's banned to march there for years, people have only marched there 5 times in history. How great of a president we have. 'Celebrating' this holiday while fractions of workers and protestors getting killed by your own police. You think you can get away by cheating the constitution with your pockets but some people say otherwise."
