Ah, CQ(bq) is an alias that I'm
not even sure I can find enough things to talk
about. Well, it first started with
"Off The Charts", CQ(bq)'s first and most
important album. It was supposed to be a bootleg
vinyl version of
"AuditoryStaleDonerTenCupsOfAyranAndABoxOfRulokat".
The songs in it are rather
distasteful, disgusting, and strange. I made it
during a time when I was struggling with making
"good albums" because of how high the standards
were. So I thought: "You know, why not try to
make a bad album instead?" And just like that, I
made Off The Charts with Local Radar being the
only guest feature. When I first made it, I
never thought people would like it because of
how bad the songs in it were, even if they were
intentionally bad.
Then, there's that whole CQ(bq)
going missing situation around when STALE04 was
in production.
"Subject: IMPORTANT!!!" was an awfully weird
voicemail talking about how some girl mistook
him for me, due to how we both look alike.
After that, we didn't get any
updates until... Alice98 Test Records released
"AuralAwfulDanmakuTenFlasksOfSakeAndABundleOfShanghaiDolls".
I was shocked to see CQ(bq) submitting a couple
of tracks for it, which I listed here in the
selected tracks section to the left. Three
songs? Yeah, just three songs.
And then, there's
"Stale Remains". An unofficial sequel to Off
The Charts, which, CQ(bq) has no involvement in.
I just made it under his name for the sake of
consistency. All of the tracks in it are
unreleased songs by Sonic4.
I don't know what else to say.
