The third release of The Protagonist, and the final album of the classroom trilogy is a
revisit to the year 2018 from a third person perspective. The good old days of early
middle school, awesome friendships and fun times. But the harsh truth is that the
past is not a good escape from today's miserable life. Things are getting darker
around here, although there is light, these moments are disappearing. There is
a sense of impending doom and melancholy throughout the album. The hope
from "A Classroom Above The Skies" has been replaced with an eerie ambient
atmosphere. The music here is uneasy and disturbing. Beautiful or depressing,
depending on one's state of mind.

Don't we all wish to go back in time? We might see the past as an escape from
the present, but it's quite the opposite. You're living in the so called past, and that's
why you should focus on making the best of your present instead. In a few years,
you'll look back on your actions today. It's your life, and it's your choices. The
Protagonist explores this idea by actually going back in time and seeing that
the past is not any better compared to the present. This album finished off
the TSSOFAL series, but there are still memories left unexplored.
