Sonic4 with CQ(bq) - Impossible Fateshift
digital download (STALE14)

"Impossible Fateshift" is a CQ(bq) compilation album produced by Sonic4 about his miraculous return to Sonic4 Test Records. It's a sequel to Discontinued Projects For Reintegration, which was an Alice98 Test Records album about CQ(bq) and his crew searching for Sonic4's spirit, hoping to bring him back to life. They succeeded, and this is what Sonic4 had to say after his disappearance.

The first half of the album is sad, and mostly addresses the issues that was an aftermath of the evil era. The second half of the album is more energetic, to represent the new beginning for Sonic4 and Sonic4 Test Records.

Overall, the entire album combines the style of Sonic4's classic warped tunes and the modern style of various remixes and other interesting selections. The track descriptions contain explanations of what each track is about.

"My life was at its worst point. I lost my friends, my community, my hopes and dreams, my sanity, everything. My world had no color and every day was depressing and unpleasant. One night, I was playing Minecraft with Remilia to feel some kind of happiness, We had a serious talk, and Remilia wanted Sonic4 to come back. Just like me, she also went through a similar suffering in life. She also lost everything and fell into a pit of depression. Unlike me, she got out of it, and built an empire that was better than anything she could hope for. She wanted me to do the same. I kind of dismissed it, thinking that it wasn't worth it because I didn't want to continue making music anymore. All I wanted was to retire in peace and move on with my sad life. A few days later, I woke up feeling like I was the old Sonic4 again. Life felt like I was back in late 2023, and I was so happy. My life finally had color again, and it was thanks to Remilia's fateshifting ability. It worked. I took that feeling and ran with it, I made a new Discord server, all of my friends reunited, and the damage from the past was forgiven. This album marks the second coming of Sonic4 Test Records."
